Chemistry is the practice of discovering and building upon existing pathways to explain phenomena and solve a wide range of problems around the world. Now more than ever, research projects focused on green chemistry and sustainability are integral to bettering the future of our planet and our health. Seeking education in these topics and enlightening our peers is the only way we will successfully face new challenges and design innovative solutions.
Advancing
Undergraduate research
My research experience expanded my knowledge in polymer modification, sustainable safe solvents, synthesis, and greener chemistry. Beyond amplifying my understanding on those topics, research also strengthened my method of approach and perseverance to problem solving.
Connecting
With the community
Sparks of curiosity and scientific discussions get generated when distinctive interactions happen between the science community and the public. Our student chapter used this concept to come up with captivating ways to connect to people and to further grow our organization.
